"Thank you!"
16-Apr-12 |
I finally found people who feel like I
do. I am always astonished every single day that parents responsible for
their own child’s welfare decide to relinquish that responsibility of their
own children and drop their kids off at institutions, systems, buildings,
centers and think they are doing good for them! Children want their parents,
period, no one can fill that role even a very accredited, very expensive
daycare center.
Thank you for your website, I only hope more people start realizing how they
are hurting our world and specifically their own child. |

"Day Care!"
9-Jun-12 |
My son goes to a day care.
At first, the day care providers were very "understanding" , but as soon as
you start asking questions like: why is my kid wet? why his shirt is totally
wet? Why he hasn't have a bottle for 3-4 hrs? ...hem.... they do not comfort
you at all. They try to make you understand that all this is normal, that
you are a overprotective mother, these kind of things happen, ..
I (should) have stayed at home with my son. With me he never got sick, he
never had a bad day.
But nobody pays us for staying at home and taking care of the kids.
Daycares do not deserve all the people taxes and state's attention. IT'S
JUST A BUSINESS TO THEM.------------WRONG, SO WRONG

"daycares no good!"
18-Aug-12 |
Wow, your site is wonderful...I have
checked out sooo many daycares and all of which I hate...
How can a few young woman take care of a big bunch of kids?? Impossible!!
Children should be loved, protected and nurtured for the first few years of
their life until age 4 when kinder starts.
Bottom line--children should be home with the parents....If a child could
talk they would simply say I want my Mummy!
Thanks again from Australia!

"Summer day camp"
6-Dec-12 |
I pulled them out, realizing the (Summer
day camp) was nothing more than a storage facility while parents worked.

"hospital sick daycare"
6-Dec-12 |
Anyway, in this hospital (where I
worked), they offered a sick day care option where your child can go onto
the peds/ob* wing of the hospital for the time
you are working!!! They would be alone in the room other than the occasional
visit from the peds nurse. Can you imagine!!! I was horrified by this
option, particularly for young children. 1) they will get exposed to more
germs, 2) they don’t even know the women caring for them (although they are
all quite lovely ladies) and 3) they are along in a hospital room without
the comforts of home!
A few times I was ‘reminded’ of this service when I stayed home from work to
take care of my sick kids. The pressure is definitely there to use it, and
it’s all just to keep you at work, certainly NOT for the well being of the
child!!!
Keep up the great work!

"I could not agree more"
19-Feb-13 |
I stumbled across your website, and have
to say you are right on point. Having had my two children in what I assumed
was a caring day care was in fact a delusion. The colds being passed around,
ear infections at an all time high, never being a concern. What really made
me upset was the lack of concern ... from the school...
It appears that our day cares are a dumping ground for kids. Keep up the
good work,

"I wish I had found your website 5 years ago"
27-Feb-13 |
...I chose a Christian facility in a
church. It seemed like such a great place, but shortly after my then 3 year
old daughter would cry hysterically every time I went to drop her off.
...I thank god that she was only in that daycare a few months, but I wish
she had never been there for a second. I hope you keep your "signs of
daycare abuse" section updated and in a prominent location so that other
parents can know and figure out the problem long before I did.

"day cares do not care"

Your site is absolutely amazing, so much
useful information in one place is ‘mind blowing’. Thank you so very much
for putting the truth that most people do not want to see out there.

"day cares do not care"
10-Dec-13 |
I came to the US from Europe (where you
get years of maternity leave in many countries), and checked out a few
daycare centers... First of all, I was SHOCKED and heartbroken to learn that
babies as young as 6 weeks get put into those facilities, full
time...overtime. For me, this is very very disturbing, and anyone who thinks
that it is OK is just completely ignoring the fact of how disturbed,
unhealthy and unnatural this is.
I think all parents know, or at least feel deep down that daycare is not a
good place, but choose to either ignore it or justify it somehow for
themselves.
It is a very sad society we live in, if children are reduced to this kind of
a life. The future does not look good.
Thank you for your website.
