This morning I sat and read many
comments on your (site) with tears in my eyes.
I deliver food to one of our local child care programs...Even though I am
only there for about 15 minutes, every time I leave, my heart just breaks.
To these people, it is just a job.
Thank you very much for this website and for making people aware of what is
really going on. Keep up the GREAT WORK!! |

I live in Montreal which is a busy city.
Mothers are almost expected to work (outside the home) here.
Thank you soooooo much for this site...

I am one of few who experienced group
day care from the 1970s. I can assure you that your worst nightmare stories
were routine back then, and are true now.
...My younger sister...never remembers not being in daycare. As an adult,
she has serious psychiatric problems and has been in and out of mental
institutions. She spends much of the day either drunk, on drugs or both. She
has lost custody of her own young child, and has only supervised
visitation...
...Oh, and my sister's "career"? She's a degreed day care worker. |

I have 2 professional degrees, including
a Master's in Psychology, which was what convinced me that daycare is bad
for kids. Thankfully, my husband agrees. Although he would never tell his
mom, he still remembers the sadness he felt when she left him in daycare
when he was young... |

The church that I belong to is planning
to open a daycare ("preschool"?) in the future. I sent my pastor to your
website because I think our church's plans are well-intentioned but ill

I will start by saying I agree with your
site and do find it very informative.
I was unaware of all the information out there about daycares.
(My son) was in daycare...
...(the daycare) must
think I am stupid if they think for a second I don't know why my baby was
hoarse.
