Thank you |
I wanted to say thank you for putting
all the time and work into this (website). As a stay at home mom of three
beautiful kids, I spend a lot of my life defending my choice to stay home.
It is so nice to see all this proof that I am making the right choice, in
one place.
I will be e-mailing this to many of my friends and family.

(Referring to a grandmother's post
stating that 'subsidized daycare is a good thing and valuable as ANY other
education')
If you think daycare is so great, I'm sure you won't mind being placed in an
adult daycare (nursing home) in a few years!

Daycare: Good for Kids?

I had an interesting first-hand
experience observing daycare "providers" and the children under their care.
We went to a puppet show at a local library in a suburb of my town.
First, I could easily tell which were the real moms and which were the
"outsourced moms"...I was amazed at the very unpleasant attitudes of the
"outsourced moms" so early in the morning! What had the children done to
make them so irritable so quickly?
Next, I noticed (most of the children) and their outsourced moms had no
(physical) contact at all.

Our children have never had sleeping
problems and they have hardly been sick with colds, flu, or ear infections
compared to their peers in daycare.
Thank you for offering a site that supports parents in raising their
children.

I want to say thank you for your amazing
website...I learned so much from you website.
It now kills me when I hear my friends talking about all the 'social
benefits' that their babies will receive one in daycare. Your website really
helped me to make the hard decision of deciding whether or not to return to
a great paying job. In the end it really came down to realizing that work
can wait a few years, while my children will not.
Thankful in Canada |

My theory is that more and more daycares
are realizing that this (butterfly garden) is a cheap way to let children
run around like mad wombats and call it educational. |

Thank you so much for providing such a
wonderful website.
Thank you, thank you, thank you for spending your time selflessly informing
people of truths and leading them to the best possible decisions they could
make for their family. |

I just wanted to tell you
how much I appreciate the information you've got on your website.
I just had a conversation with my sister where she repeatedly told me how
much her daughter LOVES her daycare (she's 12 months old), and how I
probably short-changed my own child by caring for her myself.
...I started to search for more info on the web, and found your site.
Excellent work!

...Maybe if I can show my
daughter-in-law that putting my precious three-year-old grandson in a
"warehouse" for the reason of
building up his immunity is a bogus reason, it
will help in getting him out of that place.
