Hello! I love your site!!!! I have read
just about everything on it and I feel so bad when I (pass by daycares)
every day and see kids not being watched.
...I did put my dear son in daycare at one point, (but) once I read
the research, I left my job as a teacher and I took my son home...
...just wanted to let you know that you are doing a great job and I really
love your site!!

Kitty Cat room |
I just wanted to share a little
comparison with y'all...(On a visit to our local SPCA shelter) One kitty was
the aggressor who picked on the other kitties, some were playing all by
themselves, others were sleeping and some were standing around
crying/meowing for no apparent reason. I felt sorry for the kittens and then
I realized that this is what those poor human babies and children must feel
when their...parents drop them off everyday at a (daycare) where they
basically fend for themselves.

I came across your website and just
wanted to share how much I agree with the things you share.
I was shocked at the accuracy of your vocabulary section!!

My question for the "experts" is why are
institutions such bad places for orphans (orphanages) that they had to be
put in family situations (foster care), yet institutions are considered good
places for infants and toddlers (daycare/school)?

I'm fortunate that I grew up in a
generation when "daycare" was never mentioned...probably didn't exist.
Fathers supported the family and mothers stayed home and cared for their
children.
I'm relieved to read that many people, younger than I am, agree...

People who claim daycare is better than
a parent's care are just as bad as those who claim formula is better than
mother's milk.

I just want to say thank you for your
website and awareness. There's nothing else like it on the internet.
Everything else I read (is pro-daycare).
I am a SAHM of two and have been amazed at the pressure that has been placed
on me to put my two-year-old into daycare...

Great site, thanks for taking the time
to put it out there for everyone to see and hopefully learn from. |

I was just browsing the internet looking
into information on starting my children in daycare, and came across your
site.
...But now that I'm reading your website, I see that it will not be better
for my kids. My friend was right that my family does need the money, but she
was way off-base when she said that this job will be able to help my family.
As far as I see it, we're going to come out in the negative and my kids are
going to suffer for my ill-thought-out decision.
What was I thinking?
