Bravo! |
Bravo for your website!
I just pulled my 18-month-old little gal out of day care after 4 days. she
was so horrified by the experience that she screamed herself into losing her
voice. well, we got the message!
I regret ever having put her in daycare. my wife had just taken a new job so
that she could go back to the "corporate working world". After we saw the
affect that daycare (and a reputable one, too) was having on her, we both
decided that we'd made an error. My wife quit her new job, and we pulled the
baby out, back to the home where she belongs.
the daycare wants a penalty of two weeks worth of daycare fees to be paid to
them... when it comes down to it, they care not a damn for the little
children there and are motivated only by money. after all, as the owner
reminded me so not politely, she was trying to run a business.
I am sorry for what I did to my little gal, and am so glad that she has
finally come back to her normal happy, sweet, bright and cheerful ways.
Thank you for telling the truth about daycare. it ought to be looked at as
an absolute last resort to be avoided, not as a reasonable alternative to
raising one's children at home. I want to raise my little gal, not any
strangers.
Regards,
Dan

I just wanted to say what a great
website you have. I am 19 and I was studying child care and decided it
wasn't something I wanted to do any more because I hated the way the
children were treated. As a child I was never put into child care, and I
thank my mother so much for this and I know when I have my own children they
will certainly not be going to day care.
Once again what a great website and way to go stay at home mothers!
Thanks,
Andrea

I must say that I agree with your
website with my whole heart. I sadly
enough must take my son to daycare. I cry almost all the time about it but I
can't afford not to. I have to get my RN's license so I can work at night
and
be able to keep him at home with me. I do drop by at any time during the day
that I can. I even stay and help out, in my son's class, when I have an
extra
hour or two. But when I do this, it is even harder to leave because the kids
love the fact that when I am there I play with them and complement them.
I
just wanted to say THANK YOU for your website. It is good to know the entire
world isn't going crazy thinking that daycare is the icing on the cake.
Sincerely, Bonnie
