Thank you for your website. It is filled
with excellent information.
I am amazed at the peer-pressure that exists about placing my children in
daycare. Somehow, my well-educated and I thought nurturing friends are
legitimizing this and are trying to convince me of doing the same thing.

...Daycares are worse for your kids for
the simple reason that daycare workers don't give a rat's a** about your
kids. Their loyalty is based on money. They care for your kids because it's
a job, and they're not about to go the extra mile for them. They're just
there to supervise...

As a former teacher, I have seen the
effects of daycare first-hand. Of the children I taught, the ones with the
most discipline problems were those who were in daycare...

efforts. Keep them up. Yours was the first eye-opening site I visited after
our horrible (and thankfully brief) experience with a NAEYC-accredited,
expensive, first-rate day care center.

I LOVE YOU!
I am an anti-daycare activist - touting the ills of both daycare and its
maladies against the children it warehouses.
I have worked in and out of daycare...for years.

...I'm glad I ran across your site.
My son was injured at a daycare, and received 2 stitches in his head...they
did not watch my son properly...and of course my son was injured again.
The municipality where I live will not document my claims...The school has
ignored all my letters and phone calls. They are waiting for me to sue them
or go away. Pretty sad for a business that is supposed to be concerned for
the safety and well being of children.
