I love your web site, and I wish that I
didn't have to send my 4 children to daycare, In the beginning I was a stay
at home dad, and my children were happier, nicer, and more loving,
especially my 4 year old, but now she is becoming rude, and I know it
happens because of daycare. Anyway, keep up the good web site.

pediatricians in business!"

"I am a stay-at-home mother of three,
but did not quit working until my oldest son was four. We had him in many
daycare settings prior to my quitting, and he, and we, were never
comfortable with any of them. Looking back on these years, we realize he was
not well cared for, probably not abused but definitely neglected, sick often
with ear infections and colds, bitten by other children, yelled at by
caregivers. He would cry when we dropped him off, get stomach aches during
the day because he missed us so much, wait by the door at daycare until we
arrived".
"...I can't help but think he was somehow scarred by what he went through.
It also breaks my heart that I will never really know what went on all those
hours he was away from us. I imagine the worst and picture him in these
strange homes with strange children and uncaring women looking out for him.
I imagine him being left for hours unsupervised, not fed enough, not given
toys to play with."

"My wife and I feel a lot of pressure
since we don't put our son in day care.
After reading your site, I am even happier about our choices!"

"My niece is currently in daycare, and
as a result has constant and persistent 'sniffles'. A co-worker of
hers told her not to worry, as it was not unusual for children in daycare to
have 'kennel cough'. I certainly
think that's a telling bit of language. As to my poor niece, she
has just recently 'recovered' from pneumonia."
