I found your site a few weeks ago and it
solidified my decision to stay home with my newborn. I sent my two older
children to daycare when they were little for a year, and the results were
awful. The stories just ripped my heart to shreds and deepened the love for
my baby. Thank you for validating what was already validated: Daycares do
not care! |

How do we account for (these psychiatric
problems)? Many things come to mind, but we should consider daycare, since
if you put on a graph the huge upswing of these problems, and put next to it
the huge upswing of children in daycare centers, you see quite a pattern. In
other words, the more children in daycare, the greater the binge drinking
and hook-up there are fifteen years later. I think this is not a
coincidence... |

Last month, an acquaintance of mine's
three year old daughter (got hurt) whilst in child care.
And no-one could tell her exactly how it happened. This was at a very
expensive, fully attended Centre with an excellent reputation and a waiting
list.
Please keep up the good work of this site; parents need to know the
unvarnished truth about child care.

I would just like to thank you for
getting the message out...I was a daycare kid from 2 to 12...
My mother still doesn't believe the horror stories and fear my sister and I
felt everyday. I can honestly say daycare has scarred me for life.
It's like the wild - you literally have to fight to stay alive because the
teachers don't care at all.
I've witnessed neglect, abuse, and just plain stupidity at daycare and I
will NEVER leave my child in one of those hell holes - (in fact), I
wouldn't leave my DOG at one!
...most parents have no idea what goes on, I'm so glad y'all get the truth
out there! :) |

I recently explored your website. It is
very well done project overall. The research is solid, everything is easy to
read and interesting enough to make you want to read as well. The articles
from magazines and newspapers were meticulously organized. All of the
recommended reading and links seem to be of a very high quality. I
especially like the article on how ridiculous day care names are, because it
was so true. ..
Your website addresses a very important and real issue. I know lots of
parents and have friends who work in daycares center who will rattle off
horror story after horror story... |

(My grandchildren's mother) has them in
daycare...they are always sick. Got pink eye, colds, fever, soar throats,
scabies..... (Their mother) says its good for social and immune systems. I
think that is bs. Love your web page

I finally found people who feel like I
do. I am always astonished every single day that parents responsible for
their own child’s welfare decide to relinquish that responsibility of their
own children and drop their kids off at institutions, systems, buildings,
centers and think they are doing good for them! Children want their parents,
period, no one can fill that role even a very accredited, very expensive
daycare center.
Thank you for your website, I only hope more people start realizing how they
are hurting our world and specifically their own child. |
